lousy publicity

i'm blogging for sunday.

well basically on sunday, woke up at amazingly 6.30 a.m. meeting nicole at 7 to go to vivo. basically well we were going for the nuffnang movie preview of shaolin girl and at the same time, pop around for the super hero march thingy.

we reached vivo at 8.30 and well amazingly enough at vivo's sky park, THERE WAS NO ONE THERE!! well maybe we were too early but at 9 which is the time the congregation supposed to start and yea there was still NO ONE THERE. Nicole was like maybe we were at the wrong place. well we were at the right place. so we sat there with NO ONE THERE! it was around 9.45a.m and only a few living souls were moving around the sky park, ( not sure about the dead souls) and around that time, there was this clown who was uber-friendly. well we sort of made friends with the clown.

fancy a clown being lost so we brought LULU the clown to her supposed meeting place. well LULU was nice!! because basically in singapore, you can see many many mean people. well so after bringing LULU to her meeting place, well nicole and i sat in the middle of the sky park. it's fun you know, well if i brought my dramarians there ho ho ho 5 of us is enough to wreck havoc in that place. well so around 10 ++ some super heroes started coming in. well i borrowed a bright orange afro hair because i was DAMN BORED !!! so i walked around with the afro bright orange hair and well i was sort of made to hold balloon and well i looked like a clown. so kids were like i want the balloon and yadayada yada.

i was expecting the turn out to be about 100 +++ or maybe more, considering it's on a sunday and EVERYONE is free on sundays. so basically there were extremely people at the event. its like the entire sky park wasn't even full. i was like seriously i think they wasted their money hiring all the posers and the worst part was THERE WERE CAMERA CREWS!! to film the pathethic turn out for the event. and they even hired the type of artist who draw people faces for you i think caricature or something.

BIG $$$$ lost well the whole idea of the event was to raise $$ for the singapore school pocket money fund. which means renting a costume for $20 which is the normal price for a day. the publicity was basically torridgible.

anyway after the event that well to me failed, nicole and i went loitering around vivo and well we went to DAISO for some supplies that her mother need. and basically i have a theory that 99% of people at DAISO DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!

Nicole who doesn't speak chinese because she's taking french
and me whose chinese is incorrigible

found it extremely hard to communicate with the staff over at DAISO. i was like i'm going to find one who speaks ENGLISH and ok i found a staff who spoke english. at least she understood me. so well basically cocktail umbrella was out of stock and i'm like amazing a super mart like that with everything going at 2 bucks and some items which can only be found there is amazingly the cocktail umbrella is out of stock.

and well after the DAISO experience, we went to the arcade i was damn bored alright. and well i played PINBALL!!! it's so amazing it's like the really old 1960s pinball game. sadly the left flipper was jammed and i'm like screw it it's so fun !! omg i love old pinball.

then i think we went to pet safari and guess what THEY HAVE THIS SHIP STEERING WHEEL THINGY OVER THERE IT'S SO AMAZING. however the sign said do not touch. but the drama spirits says ooo fuck the sign. so i went to turn the wheel it's so cool omg it actually turns back to it's original position =) well the pet safari at vivo was pathetic. its so small, there were sooo little pets, however the amount of pet equipments they had was GAJILLIONS !

we went to visit tako at best denki !!!!! haha tako is so god damn tall. anyway tako was selling home phones and im like urgh. well i went to check out my Mp3 Yp T10 by samsung and well the price was 179 and im like amazing i bought it at 180 with a free sammy doll and some fm thingy and im like amazing i still have it at such a good price. haha then ICE came to accompany nicole.

after that went to vivo's GV to catch the premier of shaolin girl. well it wasn't that good, and it wasn't that bad. basically average. well the movie's in japanese so the subtitles were real help. the stories about this girl who left her hometown in japan to go to china for some shaolin training. after 9 long years she graduates and goes back to japan to spread the shaolin martial arts. and basically her hometown is destroyed and the story continues there. The shows pretty funny and interactive. one downer was the fighting scenes. i was pretty urm dissapointed by the last fighting scene where a hug is offered. i'm like wth a hug A HUG !! ITS A HUG !! and she wins omg!
(hugs are nice though)
well i enjoyed the part where they fought on water. something like from the naruto manga.

so basically that was my entire sunday. i spent the whole sunday outside amazing aint it!
(i'll put up the photos soon)
publicity was horrible
