Religion and its thingjamatic

In the opinion of after life and the whole tis for tat, it is strongly believed under the psychological psyche of most individuals that most are not afraid of death in itself. But rather, not existing.

Death: The end all of the body. (my definition)
Not existing: The complete annihilation of said matter. (my definition)

In non-existence, we loose our memories, our thoughts and in simple fact, to not exist (Without both the physical and the psychological). Aristotle believed that we humans willed ourselves into existence, that it is this will that creates the being, the soul and eventually thought processes. (Aristotle however remained a firm believer of god). It is this non-existence that people are afraid of and this fear that creates the notion of the after life as conveyed by most religion.

As such, we cling on the faith, firmly believing that the single entity of "faith" defined as an extreme believe (note the word extreme), ensures that we do not entirely "disappear" (not exist) but rather continue on in the afterlife. This belief satiates the hunger to know more about what happens next, before and even the slight nuances of coincidence which many belief to be fate. Faith in itself becomes a holistic answer to the end all and the be all. Who you were, who you are and ultimately submits your entire being to any said higher power.

With faith under religion, most recognized sectors teaches many to be a good person in life now and be rewarded after. But faith in itself bears an element of uncertainty and it is this uncertainty that mankind can not fully submit. We stop to question the concepts of after life, what goes on beyond the grave, the hows, the whys and believe in this uncertainty.

Religion in itself should serve as a guidance, an establishment to inculcate values and morals into individuals. So if we truly believe in the notion of divine justice, then we do good, we remain as the ordinary. Yet this ordinary ultimately bores, we live a monotonous life and ultimately not-living.

We cannot live in fear of some big "what if". Instead should thread amongst the middle lines, between the planes of right and wrong. Live life to the fullest, yet remain ultimately a good person (commonly accepted as law abiding, following society's expectations of being a person).

We should not fear non existence and or death, rather we should fear not living.

live as you want, distinguish between what is ok, and what isn't. And with that, thread between those lines to survive in the hierarchy of society and yet still ultimately live
